Jake Ryan Justice is a Los Angeles-based writer, director, producer, and multidisciplinary creator working across film, theatre, music, and literature.

Justice's creative journey began as a composer and pianist, heavily influenced by the likes of Chopin, Debussy, and Rachmaninoff. While attending Brigham Young University as a music major, he founded the band The Strike, beginning an early chapter in his career as a songwriter, performer, and creative entrepreneur. The band went on to tour and share stages with major artists including Kelly Clarkson, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Chicago, giving him his first experience building an original creative project from the ground up and bringing it to audiences across the country.

Justice's career segued naturally into film and writing when he wrote and composed his first musical, The Fourth Alice. He created, wrote, composed, and music directed the original musical, which was presented at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Blending fantasy, music, and contemporary storytelling, the project reflects his broader interest in building ambitious original worlds that can live across multiple mediums. He also served as a producer on Mental, starring Academy Award nominee Abigail Breslin, which screened at the Burbank International Film Festival.

His current slate spans narrative features, novels, musicals, and documentary work. Projects include The Jump-Hump Diaries, a provocative college satire set within the culture of a Mormon university; Stage Heist, a large-scale theatrical satire combining music, spectacle, celebrity culture, and revolution; and Premeditated Sex, an intimate dark comedy centered on a Mormon woman and a Muslim man leading double lives as they navigate desire, faith, repression, and identity.

Justice’s work is driven by a fascination with outsiders, institutions, ambition, belief, sexuality, celebrity, and the tension between individual freedom and the systems that attempt to define it. His creative approach combines heightened comedy and theatricality with emotionally grounded characters, often moving between satire, drama, music, and surrealism.
